Orvin Henry Stevens, 89, of Gothenburg, died March 19, 2013, in Gothenburg.

He was born June 7, 1923, near Gothenburg, in Dawson County, son of Peter and Mary (Fickenscher) Stevens. Orvin was baptized July 8, 1923, and was confirmed on March 17, 1940, at the Christ Lutheran Church, northeast of Gothenburg. Orvin attended Valley School and graduated from Gothenburg High School.
