Dress Down funds awarded

The Cheyenne County Ladies Chamber presented a check in the amount of $272.25 to the Potter-Dix Post Prom Committee on March 14 to help cover prizes, games and food. Margaret Lienemann presented the check to Ryley Hicks while others looked on including John White of John White Insurance. John White Insurance is one of the many businesses that participate in the Dress Down that is on the third Friday of each month. The February Dress Down recipient is Dalton Senior Center. It will assist in the cost of replacing the windows and a door and replace some materials on the wall around the entrance.
