Down eight points late to Creek Valley in Monday night’s opening-round, the Potter-Dix High School boys’ basketball team probably couldn’t dream the position it is in today.
However, Chad Miller’s upstart and fourth-seeded Coyotes completed a sweep at the Sidney D1-12 Subdistrict Thursday by rallying past Crawford 49-44 at Cabela’s Athletic Facility.
Bryan Knigge scored six straight points to give P-D (9-13) a 43-42 lead with about a minute left, and the Coyotes were able to hang on at the foul line.
