SHS ‘Points for Pink’ deadline extended

SIDNEY — There’s still time to sign up for the Points for Pink fundraising event taking place at the Sidney High School basketball games with Alliance on Friday evening.

Through Points for Pink, a person is able to sponsor money for every free throw made during the boys and girls varsity games.

Though the original deadline for Points for Pink forms was noon Friday, it has been extended and participants can sign-up during the games.

All sponsors will meet in the commons directly following the Varsity boys basketball game to pay.

Points for Pink sponsor forms can be found at

Sidneyraiders.org, http://www.nightofhope.com or ksidradio.com and can be returned to the high school office.

All proceeds will be donated to The Night of Hope Foundation, a foundation dedicated to helping local cancer patients.

“For every dollar that they raise for Night of Hope we are able to help that many more cancer patients,” said Brenda Noel, president of The Night of Hope Foundation.

There will also be a dinner and silent cake auction fundraiser during the games.
