AmericInn now Best Western

This Tuesday Sidney’s AmericInn became a Best Western Plus Sidney Lodge after being awarded the title of a Best Western Plus from the world’s biggest hotel franchise, according to a press release by sales manager Christine Stephens.

The worldwide entitling process began in 2010 when Best Western hotels were given the chance to earn the designation of Best Western Plus or Best Western Premier if they met specific criteria based on design and services.

To earn the title of Best Western Plus a hotel must have good rooms with modern features, be an upper midscale hotel and must provide enhanced comfort on top of basic needs for those staying at the hotel.

The hotel’s amenities include 64 guest rooms with service, free high-speed Internet WI-FI services, microwaves and refrigerators in each room, hot breakfasts, an indoor pool and close proximity to the Cabela’s store.

“We are proud to put the ‘BEST WESTERN PLUS’ sign on our door,” said Amber Talich, property manager of the hotel. “We offer the great service and value that Best Western is known for, and the upgraded amenities that give us our PLUS designation.”

The Best Western Rewards program is offered to those who stay at the lodge and want to join. It is a hotel loyalty program that compiles rewards such as an occasional free room, dining, shopping, gas cards, airline miles, gift cards for entertainment and more at any hotel location around the world. Membership for the program is free.

There are over 4,000 Best Westerns, Best Western Plus and Best Western Premier hotels that span over 90 countries. Each hotel is independently owned and operated and the hotel chain has been in business for 65 years.

“Hotels that earn the ‘Plus’ descriptor typically have a 3-Diamond rating from AAA, and offer a little something extra to make a guest’s stay even more comfortable,” said David Kong, Best Western International president and CEO.

“No two Best Western hotels are alike, so these new descriptors will help our guests choose the right hotel for their needs from among the brand’s 2,200 North American properties.”
