OSHKOSH — Tanner Wernsman and Nathaniel Vortuba were double-winners on the mats Thursday night as Sidney High School’s wrestling team swept a triangular match against both Hershey and host Garden County.
Wernsman opened the Red Raiders’ 65-12 win over the host Bulldogs by picking up a quick pin at 160 pounds, and also won by a first-period stick in his bout against Hershey’s Wyatt McConnell.
Picking up pins against Garden County were Tucker Wintholz (heavyweight) and Lane Riley (145).
Vortuba (138) won by technical fall, and the remainder of SHS’s points came via forfeits.
