Take-back programs for electronics could save millions

LINCOLN – Take-back programs for electronics in Nebraska could save taxpayers almost $2 million and create over 700 new private-sector jobs, according to new projections by The Nebraska Product Stewardship Coalition, an alliance of state and national organizations committed to shifting Nebraska’s waste management system from one focused on government funded waste diversion to one that relies on producer responsibility.
