The Dalton-Gurley Crewsaders were presented with a check today from the Cheyenne County Ladies Chamber, Dress Down Day, in the amount of $925.38 to be used towards the purchase of a 2-seated fire truck rocker. The DG Crewsaders are in the process of raising money to replace the playground equipment, which was very old - the wooden jungle gym was rotting – with new equipment for the areas children to enjoy. The DG Crewsaders, once an affiliation of the Dalton Jaycees, were formed 5 years ago in an effort to keep raised money within the Gurley Dalton communities. Pictured from left are DG Crewsaders Vice-President Tracy Pelster, Ambassador for the Ladies Chamber Geri O’Holleran, DG Crewsaders President Paula Parker and DG Crewsaders Secretary Marva Holt.
