Clara Dickinson, 89, of Lodgepole, died early Sunday morning, Nov. 25, 2012, at the Miller Memorial Care Center in Chappell.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Lodgepole with Wayne Fraass officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery north of Lodgepole.
Memorials have been established to the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and the Miller Memorial Care Center.
Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Holechek Funeral Home in Sidney.

Clara Christina Dickinson, the daughter of Benjamin August and Theda Laverne (Cooper) Grasz, was born Feb. 28, 1923, in Garden County near Lewellen. The family moved to Julesburg, Colo., for a short time before returning to Garden County where they lived on a farm and she finished elementary school at District 37J.
On Sept. 5, 1940, she was united in marriage to Marion Dickinson at Chappell. They lived in Lodgepole a short time and then moved to a small farm west of Lodgepole where they lived for 13 years before moving back to Lodgepole in 1956.
Clara was employed by Floyd Wise at the Red and White Store in the meat department, in Lodgepole for 13 years, and Nightingale’s Grocery for 17 years, retiring in 1988.
She enjoyed many get-togethers and campouts with family, antiques and collectibles, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Jerry (Maryann) Dickinson of Lodgepole; son-in-law, Kenneth Bieber of Julesburg; two brothers, Albert and Vic Grasz of North Platte; two brother-in-laws, Wayne Powell of Lochbue, Colo., and Lenard Dickinson of Sidney; four sisters, Helen (Dee) Powell of Arvada, Colo., Vera (Wayne) Bottrell of Kingsbeach, Calif., Dorthy (Gene) Krumm of Ovid, Colo., and Beth (Darold) Cheleen of Chappell; three sister-in-laws, Frances Grasz of Ovid, Marie Grasz of North Platte, and Jane Grasz of Lexington, Okla .; six grandchildren, Debbie (Greg) Coleman of Palmyra, Va., Kevin (Marie) Bieber of Fort Morgan, Colo., Marcine Dickson of Colcord, Okla., Michael (Holly Hughes) Sellers of Sidney, Wade (Kristin Miller) Dickinson of Lodgepole, and Jay (Mitzi) Dickinson of Lodgepole; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion; two daughters, Alta Bieber and Betty Vavra; son-in-law, Joe Vavra; two sisters, Edna Porter and Rita Powell; and five brothers, LeRoy, Art, Clarence, Harvey and Jess Grasz.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Sidney is serving the Dickinson family.
