    The Sidney City Council on September 27 approved its budget for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. The process included a budget hearing early in the city council meeting, followed by the council approving a resolution setting the property tax at .574936 mills.     The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Rail Road has asked the City of Sidney to block the Deadwood Trail multi-use trail at the point the railroad overpass crosses over the top of the walking trail.
