    Dozens of people attended the benefit dinner for Derek Stafford on March 26 in the Sidney High School cafeteria. Derek was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at the age of 6 months. In addition to cystic fibrosis, Derek also has a blood clotting disorder. The fundraiser was held to benefit Derek’s family’s expenses that are incurred during their frequent trips to Denver for Derek’s treatments and medicines.
