In its April 10 meeting, the city council approved funding assistance Highby’s forest products division and its outdoor sports division. Current and former military members will be honored at an event next Saturday, May 19. The Armed Forces Appreciation Ball will feature dinner, silent and live auctions and a dance. The Cheyenne County Commissioners Monday approved an agreement for dispatch services to Deuel County. The City of Sidney “2018 Shade for Sidewalks Street Tree Program” is taking applications from homeowners for a chance to plant a 12 foot tall tree, in the city right of way. An Iliff, Co., man was flown to North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley after he was injured Monday in a single-vehicle accident.
