    The Judiciary Committee of the Nebraska Legislature is reviewing a Bill called the "Limited Immigration Inquiry Act." The Bill is sponsored by Sen. Megan Hunt. The purpose of the bill is to "promote the health and safety of all residents of Nebraska by encouraging immigrants to cooperate with the government, especially in reporting violations of the law."     A Garden County grand jury has determined there was no criminal actions connected to the September death of a Sidney woman, Candy Flood, while she was in the custody at the Garden County Jail. At approximately 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol were notified that Flood, 37, had died at the Garden County Jail, while she was being housed there on behalf of Cheyenne County.     JAN. 25: A Dalton woman escaped injury when the Jeep she was driving collided with a deer at 5:26 p.m. Kathryn Benish, 34, of Dalton, was driving a 2011 Jeep on Cheyenne County Road 58 when she observed a deer on the left side of the road.     Hannah Rapp, a 2016 Sidney School graduate studying Microbiology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, was recently awarded a Study Abroad Award by the Hagan Scholarship Foundation to participate in a DIS Study Abroad Internship.
