    SIDNEY – Sidney Fire Department (SVFD) and four other neighboring departments tested for their Firefighter 1 Certifications (FF1) at the SFD Training Facility together earlier this month. Chadron, Gering, Hemingford and Potter all completed Nebraska State Firefighter 1 certifications with SVFD earlier this month.
