    SIDNEY - The Sidney and Greater Area Fund (SAGA) is a newly formed community affiliated fund under the Nebraska Community Foundation serving Sidney and Surrounding Areas. This fund is dedicated to improving and maintaining long-term viability within our area communities. SAGA made their first grant to Cool Kids Club and their Summer Program.     CHEYENNE COUNTY – The Cheyenne County Visitors Committee (CCVC) approved six grants and discussed scheduling a special meeting for its 2023-2024 budget. At the end of the meeting, the visitors board voted to host its 2023-2024 budget meeting the same evening of its next regularly scheduled meeting.     CHEYENNE COUNTY – According to the Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) and Sheriff Adam Frerichs, there have been potential medicare scams reported and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (NDHHS) confirmed there are always scams, but the department is not seeing a measurable increase.
