    The Sidney Community will be celebrating Veterans Day Monday with programs and dinner. A Veterans Day program is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Sidney Middle School. The program will be held in the gymnasium. Guest speaker will be Ret. Col. Lori Fritz. She is a 1981 graduate of Sidney High School, highly-decorated veteran with 21 years of active duty.     Be prepared for a lot of trunks with treats in a small area. Sidney's annual Trunk or Treat will take place Thursday, Oct. 31, at Hickory Street Square. The event is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 6. As of Oct. 24, there were 47 “trunks” registered to take part in the annual event.
