In 1977, a Seattle juvenile court judge developed the concept of citizen volunteers who are directed to meet with, speak for juveniles who are in the court system. A Logan County, Colo., man died and the train conductor and engineer were transported to Sterling Regional Medical Center Friday when a train and truck-trailer collided near Peetz. According to Colorado State Patrol Public Information Officer Trooper Josh Lewis, authorities were contacted about 5:05 p.m. Friday of the collision. What people witnessed at the Parade of Lights was a fanfare of lights and celebration welcoming the Christmas season.
