    Larry Cox, who served as chief of the Sidney Police Department for eight years, died this morning at his home in Sidney. He was 61. Cox was the police chief from June 2001 until his retirement in October 2009. He spent 33 years in law enforcement. Paul Schaub, the Cheyenne County attorney who also serves as the ex officio county corner, said no foul play was suspected in the death.
