Welcome to Somewhere. Washington State University in Pullman, Wash. has served as my home for the past four years. Although it is a university, it’s understandable that most people haven’t heard of the town of Pullman, and I doubt I can find one person in this town who has been to Rochester, Wash., my hometown. Peggy J. Kemp 1951 to 2012 Peggy J. Kemp, 61, of Sidney, passed away Sunday morning, Dec. 2, 2012, at her home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, in the First United Methodist Church in Sidney, with Rev. Tom Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. North Sidney is in the midst of a major cosmetic improvements, and Tuesday night, residents got a chance to get in on the discussion.
