    BAYARD – Sam Schumacher fired in 21 points Saturday evening, leading Leyton High School’s boys basketball Warriors to a 50-32 victory against host Bayard in the finals of the Tigers Invitational. “We got off to a good start,” Warriors coach Gary Oltmann said. “We knew they’d make a run, and they did cut it to seven points before we got it going a little bit there at the end.” LHS (2-0) got off to a 14-6 lead after a period, and pulled away grudgingly, leading 21-14 at halftime and 36-25 heading into the fourth quarter.     William Joseph Tschacher Sr. 1933 to 2012 William Joseph Tschacher Sr. (Bill or BJ) 79, passed away Nov. 22, 2012, at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center in Casper, Wyo. By his request, no funeral or memorial services are planned. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place next spring in the Tschacher Family Plot in Hemingford with military honors once a date has been set.
