The annual Holidays in Hickory Square Christmas Kickoff will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The unemployment rate in Cheyenne County rose slightly in October, to 2.3 percent. My wife and I were traveling from the San Francisco Bay Area to Omaha for Thanksgiving. We stopped in the Safeway Starbucks on our way to Omaha and we struck up a conversation with a random customer and her two kids. They were the nicest family and were so enjoyable.
