Eight high school teams will be performing one-act plays at the Potter-Dix Junior and Senior High School on Monday. Nebraska public high schools graduated nine out of every 10 seniors in 2015, setting a nearly 89 percent graduation rate. According to the Nebraska Department of Education, this is a slight decrease from the nearly 90 percent graduation rate set the previous year. A single vehicle crash on Interstate 80 near Bushnell in Kimball County claimed the lives of two Scottsbluff residents Thursday night. The crash occurred just after 10 p.m. near the Bushnell exit (mile marker 8) on I-80 in Kimball County. A 2012 Buick Enclave was eastbound on I-80 when the vehicle left the roadway and went down into the median. The Nebraska State Patrol will join its law enforcement counterparts from across the nation in a Thanksgiving holiday special enforcement campaign designed to reduce the potential for serious injury and fatality crashes by enforcing seat belt usage.
