Cheyenne County is expanding a juvenile diversion program that offers alternatives to the formal justice system for minors alleged to have committed offenses. Paul Schaub, Cheyenne County Attorney, said in the past, diversion has been offered on a case-by-case basis. Sidney’s Cool Kids Club/No Limits will participate in the “World’s Largest Sport Stacking Event” on Nov. 12 to set a new world record. On Guinness World Day, sport stackers from all around the world will be up stacking and down stacking various pyramids in specific patterns at lightning speed for at least 30 minutes. The Potter-Dix Lady Coyotes volleyball team on Thursday evening earned a trip to the Nebraska state championships by defeating the Crawford Lady Rams, 3-1 (25-12, 19-25, 25-20, 25-15), in the District 2 finals at Mitchell High School.
