    Local Marines and former Marines will be able to come together and celebrate at the 240th annual Marine Birthday Ball on Saturday. The event will be held at The Vine in Sidney. The United States Marine Corps birthday is celebrated every year on Nov. 10.     The Peetz Plateau School District will soon have three new board of education members. In Colorado’s Tuesday election, voters in Logan County’s Peetz Precinct selected from among four candidates to the fill the vacancies created by term limits. According to unofficial results released by the Colorado Secretary of State Elections Division, Michael Hill received 182 votes, the most of all candidates.
