  • Cabela's reports revenue of $850 million in third quarter

    Although direct sales and firearms sales were somewhat disappointing, Cabela’s still saw revenue increases in the third quarter of this year. Cabela’s boasted a total revenue increase of almost 15 percent to around $850 million during 2013’s third quarter. Retail store revenue increased about 20 percent to around $550 million.   • Halloween Hay Days

    Dozens of costumed characters descended on the fairgrounds for the annual Hay Days gathering. The event, hosted by Cook Kids Club/No Limits and Kids Plus, featured prizes, a bouncy house and a visit from McGruff, the crime dog.   • Intern program hopes to bring opportunities to students, businesses in state

    On Monday representatives from the InternNE program met with local businesses to promote internship possibilities and funding opportunities. Through its website InternNE allows businesses to post available internships online and apply for grants.
