Dalton's 87th annual Fall Festival attracted people from near and far for some hometown fun this past weekend. With parades, music, a car show, crafts, horseshoes, kids games, a garden tractor pull and much more, there was something for everyone to enjoy. ALLIANCE – About 60 Panhandle high school students traveled outside of Alliance to display their knowledge of range management at the Area I Range Judging contest. Our final stop on our field tour of farms and ranches in Burleigh County, N.D., was a visit to the Black Leg Ranch. It’s owned and operated by Jerry Doan and his family. The Sidney High boys' and girls' cross country teams both placed first at the McCook Invite meet on Friday afternoon at Heritage Hills Golf Course. It was the first win of the season for either team. The boys finished with a team score of 24. The girls registered a 35.
