    Defying the norm, Dalton teenager Drew Haley returned home Tuesday, just 18 days following an injury that resulted in a partial leg amputation. Haley, a junior at Leyton High School, was injured in the school's football season opener when his knee was twisted on a tackle following a high-reaching catch.     Researchers haven't found a specific reason for suicide, but there is a list of likely triggers that leads to it. The one common factor is the isolation frequently felt by the deceased before the event, and the survivors afterward.     SCOTTSBLUFF — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) are investigating the death of a female inmate in Garden County. At approximately 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, investigators were notified that an inmate, Candy C. Flood, 37, from Sidney, had passed away at the Garden County Jail, while she was being housed there on behalf of Cheyenne County. Preliminary information indicates a medical issue may have occurred.     Sidney police were extra busy last weekend as thieves worked overtime at the I-80 interchange. Police Chief Joe Aikens reports the crazy weekend began Friday with a rash of shoplifting reports from WalMart.
