    A pregnant Sidney woman driving with her husband to Scottsbluff gave birth to a healthy 7-pound baby girl on the side of the highway outside of Sidney this week. Kendra Stone's labor began Wednesday morning when she noticed a labor pain and called her husband to leave work.     John Frederick Striggow of Hebron, Neb., was born June 20, 1948 to Carl and June (Jensen) Striggow in Friend, Neb. John died at home Monday July 6, 2015, at the age of 67 years, with his wife Brenda and sister, Mary by his side. John was baptized Oct. 10, 1948 and confirmed his faith in 1962 at the Exeter Methodist Church. On March 31, 1978, John married Brenda Fangmeier at Grace Lutheran Church in Hebron.     The Table of Grace Mobile Food Pantry will be distributing “Back to School”supplies for the 2015-16 school year. This marks the sixth consecutive year it has provided a complete array of school supplies to Panhandle-area K-12 students.
