Interesting landscaping, flowers and greenery will be abundant during the Cheyenne County Ladies Chamber garden walk this year. "We have quite a variety," said Ladies Chamber member Norma Long. Bettie Jean Kester, age 87, of Nixa, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014. She was born July 1, 1927, in Dalton the daughter of Allen and Hazel (Reinmuth) Overman. On July 9, 1945, she and Walter William Herboldsheimer were united in marriage. Bettie was a caring and dedicated L.P.N. She worked for the Emmaus House in St. Charles, Mo. and most recently at Taylor Health Clinic at Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri. Kimberly Michelle Jensen (Smith), daughter of William L. and Linda L. Smith, was born on Sept. 18, 1960 in Wray, Colo. She grew up in Denver and relocated to Sidney in 1979.
