Almost 200 community members pitched in this weekend to clean up trash across town in an effort to keep Sidney beautiful. On May 3, Keep Sidney Beautiful held its annual trash race, wherein participant teams worked to gather as much garbage and recyclables as possible and dispose of them properly. Nelda Fay Robinson was born on Jan. 9, 1941 in Lookeba-Sickles, Okla. to Arlis E. and Pearl F. (Slatten) Goodman. She passed away on May 2, 2014 in Oklahoma City at the age of 73. Nelda attended East Walnut School and then graduated from Binger High School. She worked in Oklahoma City as a waitress, manager of tellers at a bank, as a caregiver, raised 8 children and helped with many of her grandchildren.
