Sidney Public Library Director Doris Jensen celebrated her last day at the library with friends, community members and coworkers on Wednesday afternoon. Jensen has served the city as director of the public library for more than eight years and has been devoted to Sidney's library for 25 years. While there were a number of positive signs that came from Peetz High School’s 7-3 road loss to the Community Christian Crusaders (8-1) – Class 1A’s second-ranked team – it might be the two other losses that hurt the most. I saw an article online recently indicating that Tiger Woods had fallen off the world’s Top 100 golfers list for the first time since 1996.
