Peetz’s Bulldog Basketball team earned their first two wins of the season over the past week, with victories over Weldon Valley and North Park. The Bulldogs hosted Weldon Valley on Thursday February 11, and needed to hold off a fourth quarter rally by the visiting Warriors to secure their first win of the season. Peetz’s Lady Bulldog Basketball team is still in search of their first win, despite three opportunities over the past week. The Lady Bulldogs hosted the Weldon Valley Lady Warriors on Thursday February 11, and again struggled on offense, only scoring 18 points against a Lady Warrior team that entered the match-up with just one win. William (Bill) Henry Hotes was born October 30, 1929 on the family farm near Bloomfield, Nebraska, the eldest son of Henry Herman Hotes and Doris Alice Scheele.
