    Cabela’s announced that it will release fourth quarter and full year 2016 financial results on Thursday, Feb. 16. The company will not host a conference call with analysts or investors, or provide guidance in connection with the results, and will not do so in future quarters while the company’s acquisition by Bass Pro Shops is pending.     Over the past few weeks Cheyenne County Commissioners and Fair Board Members have been discussing security for the buildings located on the Cheyenne County fairgrounds. In the most recent Commissioners meeting, concerns were voiced about the security of the fairground buildings.     After working on the Sinful Sidney Sesquicentennial Celebration for almost ten months, joint efforts between the city of Sidney, the Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce and the Cheyenne County Visitors Center continue pushing the event towards preparedness.     DALLAS – On January 20 in the 271st Judicial District of Texas in Jack County, a jury found Tony Lyon, Owen Lyon and Monna Lyon responsible for defrauding Sidney-based cattle broker Midwestern Cattle Marketing, LLC through the use of a check kiting scheme involving the alleged purchase and sale of cattle in one of the largest cattle fraud cases in Texas history.     A Sidney man was in County Court Tuesday on three counts of visual depiction of a sexually explicit conduct involving a child, a Class 2A Felony. According to the arrest warrant affidavit, the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) received information that child pornography had allegedly been traced and downloaded to an IP address linked to Daniel Konruff of Sidney.
