A Crook, Colo., man died Sunday, Jan. 12, in a single-vehicle accident at Nebraska Highway 19A and Cheyenne County Road 113. Charles E. Sidney's Red Raider Wrestling team hosted the Bridgeport Bulldogs for a dual meet on Thursday, and the two evenly matched teams went to the final bout before Sidney finally notched the win against the Bulldogs, 40-to-30. The Peetz Bulldog basketball teams hosted rival Fleming on Thursday night, and as expected the struggling Lady Bulldogs fell into a hole quickly against the powerhouse Lady Wildcats, trailing 37-to-12 at the end of the first half.
