    A Utah-based company announced the acquisition of two Cabela’s businesses, and it will keep those operations in Sidney. Worldwide Trophy Adventures (WTA), a free hunting and fishing consulting service in St. George, Utah, announced Tuesday that it has acquired Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures and Trophy Application and Guide Service (T.A.G.S.) businesses.     Cheyenne County will seek to join all five of its neighboring Nebraska counties – and three dozen counties throughout the state – in being designated "Livestock friendly."     The City of Sidney is accepting Christmas trees in a parking lot in Legion Park off Toledo Street, past the former municipal swimming pool. While many residents have already dropped off trees at the site, City Park Superintendent Tom Von Seggern said trees will be accepted for the next week. Each year, he said, about 30-60 trees are collected. The parks department grinds the trees into mulch, which is then placed around living trees in Legion Park.     The latest snow storm that swept through Cheyenne County at the end of December led to a few stranded motorists on county roads.
