The Potter-Dix Lady Coyotes opened their regular basketball season with back-to-back wins. The winning weekend began with a successful 48-38 win against Sedgwick County in Julesburg, Colo. Following a devastating 81-23 loss to Sedgwick County on Friday, the Potter-Dix Coyotes came back for a home win against the Banner County Wildcats on Saturday. A Kimball County grand jury which convened Nov. 9 found no criminal conduct in the death of a Minnesota man who was found hanging in his jail cell earlier this year. Jesus Estrada-Perez was found hanging in his cell in the Kimball County jail on Aug. 1 and died days later.
