    The Potter-Dix Coytes boys’ basketball team advanced to the semifinal round of the MAC Tournament with a 53-39 win over the Garden County Eagles on Tuesday night in Oshkosh. The No. 5 Coyotes fought their way to a narrow 15-12 lead after the first quarter before asserting control over the second eight minutes. Potter-Dix upped its halftime lead to 14 points at 32-18.     Average retail gasoline prices in Nebraska have fallen 4.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.93 per gallon on Monday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 1,150 gas outlets in Nebraska. This compares with the national average that has fallen 5.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.05 per gallon. In Sidney, gas prices continue to be among the lowest in the nation.     A 30-year-old Dalton man was sentenced to four to eight years in prison Tuesday for engaging in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.
