    STERLING, Colo. – The Sterling (Colo.) Police Department responded to an armed robbery on Wednesday just before 1 p.m. at Wal-Mart located at 1510 W. Main St., Sterling. An investigation determined that a male approached the pharmacy counter there, showed a handgun and demanding narcotics. The man was provided the narcotics and exited the store.     GURLEY – The Gurley/Dalton Fire Department received life-saving grain bin rescue equipment on Tuesday night, thanks to a donation from Farm Credit Services of America. A grain bin rescue exercise followed to train firefighters in the use of the specialized equipment at the Gurley Fire Hall.     The Creek Valley High golf team posted its best score of the season Tuesday, finishing in a tie for fifth at the Garden County Invitational. Dundy County finished on top of the team competition with a 342 with Perkins County taking runner-up honors with a 357.
