    Lucas Rosenbaum, a 2014 graduate of Sidney High School and now a freshman at Missouri S&T University, earned a berth to the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships to compete in the pole vault last weekend in Allendale, Mich. Rosenbaum is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor champion and was runner-up at the league's outdoor meet.     Table of Grace Food Pantry in Sidney has received a $2,000 grant to help meet the hunger needs of lower-income residents in Cheyenne, Garden and Deuel counties. The grant is provided through Farm Credit Services of America’s “Working Here Fund.” The Table of Grace Food Pantry provides food to residents of all ages within its 35-mile service area. This includes youngsters who attend a day care in a lower-income neighborhood and older residents through an assisted living facility and a community center.     The Sidney Red Raiders golf team concluded its final match of the regular season Thursday and finished in fifth place with a 342 at the Ogallala Invite. Ahead of the Raiders were match winner Scottsbluff with a 314, McCook at 319, Coazad with a 337 and Gothenburg at 339.     The Creek Valley Storm shot their lowest team total of the season in the Sutherland Invite at Oregon Trail Golf Course Tuesday on their way to a fourth-place finish. MacKenzie Bowker, a senior at Sidney High School, and Jake Johnson, a senior at Potter-Dix High School were named the recipeints.     Led by freshman Connor Dormann, the Sidney High School golf team won its first meet of the season on Tuesday at the Cozad Invitational. Dormann earned top medalist honors after he fired his best competitive round of the year with a 78 at the Cozad Country Club. In addition, the Red Raiders had three other medalists including Nate Dvorak (84), Brady Radcliffe (87) and Jake Burke (88).
