    Sidney High School graduate Logan Lewis, who just completed his freshman year at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa., was named the Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year. Lewis helped the Diplomats to a third-place finish at the Centennial Conference Championships last month. Lewis, a four-event medalist at state last season as a senior at Sidney., earned a gold medal for his winning throw in the shot put. He put the shot 50 feet, 11 inches to win the event.     KEARNEY, Neb. – Several local students at University of Nebraska at Kearney were named to the Deans’ List for the spring 2015 semester. Honored were: Morgan Linneman, Seth Schuessler, Sara Wright, Tessa Schumacher, Kaitlyn Wells, all of Sidney; and Rachael Ernest of Dalton.
