The Sidney High School volleyball team wrapped up its regular season on Tuesday night, defeating Kimball and pushing its overall record up to .500. Sidney High School’s Rachel Blauert has been selected to the 2015 Nebraska Coaches Association Girls’ Golf Super-State/All-State Team. Nineteen people were killed in traffic accidents on the state’s roadways during September, according to data collected by the Nebraska Department of Roads. There were 27 fatalities on the roads in September 2014. Last month, the 19 fatalities occurred in 18 crashes. In those accidents, 13 of the 14 vehicle occupants who died were not wearing safety belts.
