Online certification for irrigators is now available through the University of Nebraska Extension website. The certification is a requirement for all irrigators in the South Platte NRD and must be renewed every four years. A man was found dead Sunday morning in the Walmart parking lot in Sidney. Jan Poleszuk, 63, of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, was found dead about 7:15 a.m. Sunday next to a tractor trailer in the northwest corner of the parking lot.
