    Sixty-three people were indicted in a drug bust in Nebraska and Colorado, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Nebraska announced on Wednesday. The U.S. Attorney’s office called the drug bust one of the largest in Nebraska history. The federal indictments in western and central Nebraska and northeastern Colorado concerned individuals involved in a methamphetamine conspiracy, according to a press release issued by the U.S. Attorney’s office.     The Sidney Airport got quite an honor late last month. The airport was named the top airport in the state at the 24th annual Nebraska Aviation Symposium held Jan. 28. Sidney's airport was named the top non-part 139 airport, which means it was the top airport in the state in 2015 that did not offer airline services.     Wind speeds reached up to 66 miles per hour last Thursday in Sidney and more than 90 miles per hour in the region, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne. The top wind speed in Sidney from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. last Thursday was reported at 66 miles per hour at the Sidney Airport.     Average retail gasoline prices in Nebraska have risen 4.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.67 per gallon yesterday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 1,150 gas outlets in Nebraska. This compares with the national average that has increased 1.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $1.71 per gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.     The Sidney High School speech team won the Kimball Invitational held last weekend. Sidney was the sweeptstakes winner in Class A/B and also the overall winner among the 15 competing schools.
