    All boys and girls ages 9-14 are invited to participate in the Sidney Knights of Columbus Council #1861 Annual Free Throw Contest. The competition will be held on Sun. Jan. 19, at 1 p.m. at the Sidney Middle School gym. Entry forms are available from physical education teachers in all area school.     In Honor of Martin Luther Day of Service, the Foster Grandparent Program will be sponsoring a Food Drive to help the Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska Pantry. The pantry is low due to an increase in need for food from families over the holidays. Non-perishable food items are needed to restock the pantry shelves. The Day of Service is supported by the Corporation for National and Community Services which funds the Foster Grandparent Program.
