Tuesday night’s basketball games involving Sidney, Peetz and Leyton have all been postponed or cancelled due to weather. Sidney’s junior varsity and varsity contests scheduled at Perkins County will not be made up. Leyton splits weekend schedule Minatare ended their three-game losing streak on Friday night with a 61-54 win over Warriors. It was the first time this season the District D2 11 rivals had met. The Creek Valley struggled without their top scorer, dropping a one-sided affair to Sutherland 65-39 on the road. The Sailors outscored Creek Valley 20-3 in the first quarter and went on to establish a 36-11 lead at the half.
