The Health Center Foundation Helping Hands volunteers at Sidney Regional Medical Center were recently honored at a luncheon in recognition of Healthcare Volunteer Week. The program has three divisions: hospice, resident care and reception. This year's theme was "Volunteers, a work of Heart." Vickie Smith received the Caring Kind Award for Sidney Regional Medical Center. The center's CEO Jason Petik made the presentation. Smith is the volunteer coordinator for the Helping Hands Reception Volunteers and is also a board member for the Health Center Foundation.
