Creek Valley's Storm Football team continues to search for their first win, as they traveled to Bartley on Friday and wound up on the wrong side of a 60-to-6 rout against the Southwest Roughriders. Southwest jumped on the Storm early, putting the game out of reach 38-to-0 at the end of the first quarter. Potter-Dix's Coyote Football team continued their unbeaten season by routing the Sioux County Warriors 63-to-0 in Harrison on Friday. Sidney Red Raider Cross Country team had a busy week, with competitions at Bridgeport and McCook. At the Run at the Rocks/Bridgeport Invite on Tuesday, both teams finished third, with the boys scoring 70 points and the girls at 75. Leyton's Warrior Football team traveled to Morrill on Friday to match up against the struggling Morrill Tigers, and made quick work of their hosts, scoring 49 unanswered points in the first quarter to put away the Tigers. Peetz's Bulldog Football team hosted 2021 State Champion Cheyenne Wells on Friday night, and the Tigers proved to be too much for the Bulldogs to handle.
