SIDNEY – On December 29, 2023, Cheyenne County Attorney Paul Schaub and Cheyenne County Chief Deputy Attorney Amber Horn said complaints were filed against a group of youths in connection to a series of vandalism and property damage incidents that occurred during the Thanksgiving holiday period. You may have seen the two new Ford Pickups purchased by the Sidney Police Department last year driving around town, as they have finally arrived after nearly a year of delays. Supply chain disruptions and other issues had delayed the delivery of the two new vehicles, but they are now here in Sidney and on patrol. Both Sidney High School Basketball teams continued their perfect starts to the 2023-24 season with big wins over Gering and Holdrege last week.
