Dear Editor: Adrian Smith is just another establishment Republican. Nebraska’s 3rd District is just about the most conservative congressional district in the United States. Yet with a Heritage Scorecard of voting conservative just 60 percent of the time Smith ranks toward the middle to lower end of Republican congressmen. Dear Editor, It was quite disappointing to see all three Republican Nebraska Representatives (Adrian Smith, Jeff Fortenberry, and Lee Terry) and both Senators (Deb Fischer and Mike Johanns) side with President Obama, Joe Biden and Harry Reid to pass the Omnibus Bill last week and fund Obamacare and most of the other things Democrats want for most of another year.
