Gonzalez completely took over the game for the Bulldogs, scoring a game-high 19 points and holding Schumacher in check to the tune of just six points. To boot, Chris Melzer fouled... Full story

Poor shooting and a lack of ball handling proved to be the undoing of the Warriors. “Turnovers killed us, and after Bridgeport got off to a slow start, they re...

CHAPPELL – To find the scorebook culprit in Friday night’s 40-33 loss to visiting Haxtun, Colo., Creek Valley High School girls basketball coach Bill Wilber didn’t have to go any further than the free-throw column. Wilber’s Lady Storm made just 1 of 15 tries at the charity stripe, but amazingly, were able to stay in the game by hitting a half-dozen 3-point shots. John Roark, Sun-Telegraph|Jan 2, 2013

If the Sidney High School girls basketball team is looking for a blueprint on how to conduct business in the second half of the season, it got a pretty good lesson Saturday afternoon.
